What is self care? Self care is essential to what I want to offer guests on retreats and with my online courses. Making time for self care is the starting place. Encouraging - easy nutritious recipes, short yoga practices, accessible yoga nidra and guided meditation practices, all designed to support well being and a nourished life.

Good Nutrition

A key part of integrated health and any holistic living program or lifestyle, is good nutritious food. Integrated health includes all aspects of health, well being and self care.

It is recommended that any online yoga courses are integrated with a well balanced diet rich with vegetables and fruit, very low on processed carbohydrates, and refined sugar. We also feel that a more pesticide free, plant based diet is healthier for both body and spirit.

We don't advocate any extreme diets or extreme exclusion of certain foods as this is a very personal thing. We aim to cultivate healthy relationships to food and to develop awareness of eating mindfully.

Movement & Relaxation - Embodiment practices

Ultimately yoga is a practice of connection, discovery, personal growth and transformation. This is true of any embodiment practice. Yoga is a practice which brings us home to our deepest sense of ourselves.

In this regard it can bring us to our true feminine nature, our Shakti, our power, and an understanding of the balance between the divine feminine and divine masculine energies which we all embody. Yoga offers a practice and way of living which should honour our body and cultivate our life force.

Nutrition and superfoods

Rather than taking daily vitamin tablets, much of our nutrients can come from organic wholefoods and superfoods (foods super rich in healing nutrients).
